Education & Enrichment Opportunities

Shore's program partners offer a range of educational options, from free classes in English for Speakers of Other Languages to a full array of community college classes from Tri-C.  You can train to become a yoga instructor, learn CPR, study for your GED and much more.  Learn about what some of the organizations housed at Shore offer through their pages on the website or by contacting them directly.  A complete list of Shore's tenants and partners can be found under the tab Shore Tenants.

This winter we're offering something new, through a partnership with the Cleveland Hearing and Sight Center.

Beginning Sign Language

Instructor: Bill Morgan, Cleveland Hearing & Sight Center

With the aid of theatre techniques and music... this fun, interactive class teaches basic American Sign Language (ASL). The class begins with the Sign Language alphabet, moves forward through colors and numbers and progresses into the fundamentals of communicating without words. Students will also explore the importance of facial expressions, body language and gestures when using Sign Language to communicate feelings and emotions without their voice. $35 for the full session.
