Drama & Media Programs
Shore is home to Silhouette Theater, and the venue for a number of touring and local theater productions. Our auditorium is availalbe to rent for your concert or performance. And we also offer an array of activities for those interested in exploring drama and media themselves, both through our own programs and through partners and tenants here at Shore. Here are some of our newest offerings.

PRYMETime – A Kid’s Media Club!!

Kids making movies… Are you in grade 4 - 6 and interested in producing your own movie or video? Here’s your chance to be a part of a Media Club meeting Saturday mornings at Shore Cultural Centre. Each Saturday from 10am – 12 noon we will meet and learn how to produce short films. We will put together a film festival to show our videos and others. Snacks will be furnished.
Saturdays, 10:00am-noon, beginning Feb. 18. Fee: $20 for the full session, through May. Room 41
PRYME Movie Time

Free, family-friendly movies the second Saturday of the month. Join us to see age-appropriate movies with discussion to follow. Hot dogs, popcorn and drinks will be available for purchase.

Beginning Sign Language
Instructor: Bill Morgan, Cleveland Hearing & Sight Center
With the aid of theatre techniques and music... this fun, interactive class teaches basic American Sign Language (ASL). The class begins with the Sign Language alphabet, moves forward through colors and numbers and progresses into the fundamentals of communicating without words. Students will also explore the importance of facial expressions, body language and gestures when using Sign Language to communicate feelings and emotions without their voice. $35 for the full session.
