Join us at one of our classes! All of our classes take place in a judgment-free zone. You are encouraged to show up “as you are” and know that you will be held in a safe and comfortable space by your facilitator and fellow participants.

 

Introduction to Meditation and Mindfulness

January 8 -February 26, 2019                                                                                                                      Tuesdays  6:30-7:30pm                                                                                                                                         $10 per class or $60 for eight-week session

Learn how to manage stress, become more resilient, engage in self-care, sharpen your awarreness and truly live  in each moment by developing a practice of meditation and mindfulness.  Join this eight-week course to learn step-by-step how to develop a meditation practice and become more mindful in every aspect of your life.  Each class in the session will build upon the last, so this series is best taken in continuity, though drop-ins are welcome.   

Tai Chi and Qigong

January 9 -February 13, 2019                                                                                                                      Wednesdays  10-11am                                                                                                                                          $10 per class or $50 for six-week session

Discover the benefits of the ancient Chinese health maintenance system.  Tai Chi and Qigong incorporate gentle flowing movements, deep breathing, meditation, healing imagery and visualization to improve health and vitality and slow down the aging proccess.  Participants will experience improved balance, stress recduction, increased strength, more restful sleep and a reduction in pain due to arthritis. 

Fun Yoga

Begins January 9, 2019                                                                                                                      Wednesdays  7-8pm                                                                                                                                                       $10 per class

This isn't a typical yoga class!  You will be guided through yoga poses that will loosen you up, make you laugh  and help you reduce stress--all while enjoying a balanced workout.  This class is ongoing, so drop in any time.  All ages and abilities are welcome.  All are welcome to show up "as you are" and know that you will be held in a safe and comfortable space by your fellow participants.  No previous yoga or fitness experience is necessary to participate.  Be sure to dress comfortably and bring a mat or towel. 

Family Fun Yoga

Begins January 11, 2019                                                                                                                                 Second Friday of the Month 7-8pm                                                                                                                                                                      $20 per family

Do you want to engage with your child(ren) in a fun and empowering way?  Come and try a yoga class designed to allow your child's creativity and confidence to shine bright!  This class will combine playful yoga movement, partner poses, vocalization and imaginative play to allow you and your child to bond, build trust and exercise in a fun and lighthearted way.  Leave feeling empowered and connected.  No previous yoga or fitness experience is necessary to participate in this class.  All families and ages are welcome. 

Qigong

Begins January 15, 2019                                                                                                                                      Tuesdays and Thursdays  8-9am                                                                                                                                                                       $10 per class

Learn the gentle, rhythmic movements of this ancient Chinese health care system, which integrates physical postures, breathing techniques and focused intention to reduce stress, build stamina, increase vitality and enhance your immune system.  Qigong combines the body's meridian system, mindful intent, breathing techniques and physical movement to cultivate energy, encourage healing and promote health.  It has been found to improve cardiovascular, respiratory, circulatory, lymphatic and digestive functions.   All ages, abilities and experience levels welcome.   

Open Women's Circle

Begins January 18, 2019                                                                                                                                       First & Third Fridays of the Month 7-8pm                                                                                                                                                                      $10 per circle

Something incredible happens when women gather together.  Circle of Renewal's open women's circles are a safe place created by women who gather together bi-monthly to support and nurture one another.  It is a place where you can break free from the craziness of life, it is a place to stop and rest and gently catch your breath and refocus.  Being in circle offers an opportunity to speak authentically about what you are going through in your life without facing judgment or advice.  Everyone has an equal voice and equal opportunity to share, grow, heal and find support and connection.
